STD/STI TESTING & TREATMENT
Proud Urology Clinic provides a full examination of all possible STDs. Below are some of the most common STDs that require medical treatment. If you believe that you have the symptom of these STDs, please do not hesitate and contact us through the form below for having an email consultation about your symptom. And our English consultant will assist the whole process when you come to our clinic. You may visit our clinic as Walk-Ins. From Monday to Friday: 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. On Saturday(s) 9:00am to 3:00pm. Recommendation For People Who Needs STD/STI Testing
As STD tests are relatively lower in costs (comparing to other surgical procedures), we recommend foreigners residing in Korea to make an appointment for the STD checkup. Please be aware that fees can differ based on which STD tests you are taking. Also, if you have insurance in Korea you will be able to get a lower fee for the test. You may visit our clinic without an appointment, however, on busy days there can be waiting time.
Process
Form Sign
— You will fill in the form at the front with guidance from our staff.
— The form includes “Privacy & Policy, Terms & Conditions” and “Patient Record Sheet” Please input your name, date of birth, nationality, and email address to receive your test via email. Please make sure to bring your Alien Registration Card for an Insurance check. (if you do not have Alien Registration Card, you can show your Passport or any other identity card.)
Waiting Time
Depending on the clinic’s schedule, the waiting time can be between 10 minutes to 30 minutes (on busy hours). Sometimes, the waiting time can take over 1 hour. We appreciate your patience in advance.
Consultation
Once your time is ready, you will speak with our urologist and talk about your current symptoms (if you have) and our urologist will determine which test is eligible for you.
Testing
Testing usually includes a urine test as mandatory, and a blood test if necessary. A genital swab test can be essential depending on your current symptoms. You will be processed with the testing by our staff’s guidance.
Price
We only accept Korean National Insurance for STD/STI testing. If you do have the insurance, please show your identification card to our staff to confirm. Please note that testing prices can differ based on which testing you perform after the consultation with our doctor. The price chart above is the average price range.
Payment
We only accept credit/debit cards as well as Korean Won cash. A monthly installment plan is available for Korean credit cards only.
Results
All results will be sent to your email address within 3-5 business days. Please make sure to provide us with your email address before you leave. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask our staff in front for any additional assistance.
